The story of Anakin Skywalker has deep philosophical elements of tragedy and transformation that we face in our world today. This course will focus on Anakin's fears, hopes, dreams, and failures as he transforms from a slave, to a teenager in love, to a war hero, and finally the Chosen One. Enjoy dynamic conversation as we discuss the character of Anakin Skywalker from Episode I-III. Kids ages 13 and up welcome when registered with an adult.

David Favela is a historian/educator and has a deep passion for Star Wars. He is in the 501st Legion and does not mind parading around in his Sandtrooper or Kylo Ren costumes to help others smile or raise money for a charity. He is also a film historian that utilizes films as primary source material to get a deeper understanding of the times that they were created for. He also enjoys tennis, spending time with his boys, and of course, discussing Star Wars with other fans.
