The Advocate's Guide to End-of-life Decisions

10:00 - 11:00 a.m.
online webinar
Andy Crocker, instructor

Dad likes to say “figures lie and liars figure.” But there’s a figure that no one can dispute: 100% of people die. When a parent views end-of-life decisions as “what if” decisions, s/he leaves you the burden of uninformed decision-making. This session will explore surrogate decision-making, standard legal forms to inform decisions, and communication strategies for critical conversations.

This course is part three of the Smarter, Stronger, Saner: The Family Advocate's Guide to Aging Series.  Register for the whole series and save money!  Even if you missed the first two, you'll receive access to the recorded webinars to watch at your convenience.

Andy Crocker’s focus is to support education and outreach regarding the health and well-being of the aging population in the State of Texas. His main role is to support the County Extension Agents for Family and Consumer Sciences in their outreach efforts to older adults, caregivers and the professionals who serve them.
