The “A’s” that Make Kids Fail:  Anger and Anxiety
Thursday, November 8
5:30 - 7:00 p.m. (dinner included)
Randall County Extension Services, 200 Brown Road, Canyon
Amy Wagner, instructor

This engaging meal preparation project provides parents/guardians and children quality bonding time that will encourage joint problem solving and communication, which are two keys ways to help children through anger and anxiety struggles.  Further, family time promotes an increased sense of worth, integrity, and safety to reduce anxiety, and expression of feelings and communication leads to less elevation of anger.  Take what you learn in our kitchen home to further foster these skills!  Fee is for 1 parent and 1 child.

Amy Wagner is the Family and Community Health Agent for the Randall County Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.  Amy has been a County Extension Agent for 12 years and has provided research based educational programs on health and wellness, safety, financial management and youth development.  Along with these programs, Amy also works with the 4-H Program in Randall County.
