From Beatlemania to the influence of Vietnam, you’ll explore the evolution of American rock caused by the events of a tumultuous decade.

Dr. Marty Kuhlman did his undergraduate work at West Texas State University. He received a Master’s degree in History from WTSU and then a Ph.D. from Texas Tech University in 1994. He began teaching at West Texas A&M University in 1994. He has published a number of articles on the civil rights movement in Texas. He also wrote the centennial history of West Texas A&M University. Marty Kuhlman has a classic rock radio show on the campus radio station and has a life-long passion for music.
